I am very excited about the possibilities of counseling/therapy services to individuals through an online experience. In the past I have utilized a service through Google called "Helpouts". Unfortunately, it did not get the popularity that Google wanted so they shut off the service in April, 2015.
At the current moment I am looking to other providers to see which service is the best fit for my practice and I will update this page with that information when the time comes.

I've done multiple sessions with Renzo now, and I will continue to seek his help. He is very insightful and easy to work with. I was afraid that doing this online would make it less personal, but so far that has shown itself to not be true. I don't have to remind him of things I've said in the past, for instance. Another thing I like is that I have never felt hurried to 'finish up' towards the end of the session, even if we go over the time a bit, and that counts hugely in his favour.
The only downside is that he doesn't have enough open slots! :)

Jan 5, 2015 Update: I already had several sessions with Renzo.
I feel comfortable with him talking about uncomfortable things. Intelligent, understanding and professional. He's very attentive to details, he can point out to things that are important but which I ignored before.
The journey is not easy, but with support of Renzo I feel confident that it will be successful.

My newlywed wife and I had a great time talking to Renzo. He is quite insightful and perceptive. We think he is a wonderful contributor to the helpouts community and his work should not go unthanked. We found our time spent together highly valuable and couldn't find a more genuine, caring and kind person. Renzo knows his stuff. He helped me take a bird's eye view of my situation and realize what was really going on. I do not feel like I am trapped in a narrow hallway any longer and I have taken our conversation to heart.

My session with Renzo was very effective. He seems very experienced and led the session from context and elaboration at the right time towards forward looking and actions. He balanced listening, reflecting and playing back key points that stimulated my own thinking and clarity. At the right moments he injected research based context. I will continue my session sequence with Renzo.
The Helpouts via video conference worked very well for me. No hassle going to another place, very confidential setting and the technology worked fine.

I came to Renzo with a mind full of issues and career choices i could not get straightened out by myself. Renzo was there to truly listen and not judge how much of a mess my Brain was in. He was very polite, and humble with his words and advice. He also has a great way of painting a picture of a situation so that you can see it in a much clearer way. I cannot say enough to describe how much cleaner and clearer I see things with Renzo's Helpout. I will definitely be back coming back to Renzo, to make sure my brain is still on track.

Mr. Torrenga was outstanding in providing valuable advice in helping me with my Marriage and my life as a Veteran. I wish there was more providers like him for other Veterans like myself. I look forward to scheduling him again in the future.

Excellent excellent excellent... Now I was a little bit not sure about talking to a stranger online about my personal issues ideas and what not but Renzo was able to make me feel at ease I am very happy that I took the chance and quite honestly I feel alot better. He is a true professional and a great listener definitely worth the 5 stars
