Renzo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor and NGH Certified Hypnotherapist. His professional affiliations include The American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, the National Guild of Hypnotists, and PSI- CHI (National Honors Society in Psychology)

Renzo received his Bachelors in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, and his Master’s of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Psychological Studies.  Renzo completed his practicum for his Master’s degree at a residential youth shelter providing therapy to adolescents who were experiencing behavioral difficulties.  Family members were involved in the therapeutic process to facilitate reconciliation as their teen’s behavior was modified positively.  This early experience has led Renzo to continue working with youth and their families in multiple settings through several community mental health and substance abuse agencies. Currently, Renzo supervises a team of outpatient therapists helping South Florida youth and their families who are experiencing personal and family discord in relation to substance abuse, co-occurring disorders and behavioral issues. In addition, Renzo also provides services to adults through private practice. As a result, Renzo has gained a great deal of experience working with adults, adolescents and their families.  This extensive experience has allowed great success in building rapport and having a strong working alliance with adolescents and adult clients. Renzo is fluent in English, Spanish and is culturally diverse.
